Hello, I’m Kieran, a Lake district photographer specialising in candid, unstaged wedding photography for laid-back couples and events.
It pretty much goes without saying that I love photography, you could also say that I’m a bit more of an alternative photographer, focusing on the moments that make us who we are over posed ones!
I photograph the day exactly as it unfolds, no stress or drama. All the fun bits, the nervous bits, the unexpected bits and sometimes the sad bits too. Although documentary is what I do, I’m not shy to give a subtle nudge to enhance lighting and composition if really necessary!
The couples I tend to work with are often very relaxed and informal and don’t want to take control of every aspect of their day. They often describe it as a ‘big party with friends’ and want to relax and enjoy the company!
Introducing Olivia
Olivia will be joining me at weddings and photoshoots as a second photographer at no extra cost whenever she's available. When she's not behind the camera, she's busy working as an intensive care nurse!

Before becoming a photographer, I served in the Army, so staying calm and relaxed is second nature to me.
Whether it’s herding groomsmen from the bar or capturing the perfect shot before Grandma blinks, I’ve got it covered.
I come prepared with two cameras, each with two memory cards, enough spare batteries to power a small village!
